Sunday dessert run with BB after the Starbucks earlier — we still had a sweet tooth, so we cashed in a Burpple Beyond deal on the whoaffle (waffle + ice cream) two-set.
We ordered:
- Pandan whoaffle + Toasted Marshmallow ice cream
- Blue Peppermint Chocolate Chip + Lavender White Chocolate whoaffle
Total: $12.50 for both via Burpple Beyond.
The pandan whoaffle was the strongest pairing. Crisp, fragrant green-tinted waffle with proper pandan aroma (not just colouring) topped with a soft, marshmallowy ice cream that brought back campfire memories. The contrast between hot crisp waffle and cold sweet ice cream is the entire reason this format exists.
The second was more adventurous — blue peppermint chocolate chip on a lavender white chocolate whoaffle. Floral lavender note from the waffle, sharp peppermint cool from the ice cream, dark chocolate chips for texture. A little busy but it worked.
$12.50 for two of these via Burpple Beyond is a strong stretch — at full price each whoaffle runs closer to $14 alone. The membership keeps paying for itself in trips like this.
