Caught the Chicha San Chen (吃茶三千) 2 for $3 promo — couldn’t say no. Two cups, BB and me, weekend afternoon in. 😍
What was on the table (2 for $3):
- Two clear cups of pink-tinted bubble milk tea — slightly creamy, with a strawberry-milk-tea fusion vibe (their signature spring-only flavour around that time).
- A generous bed of dark tapioca pearls (boba) at the bottom of each cup — fresh, chewy, with proper QQ bite.
- The signature green-strip seal with their Taiwan-map design label on each cup.
Chicha San Chen is known for using real tea leaves and freshly-brewed bases — and you can taste it. The tea note was clearly there under the milk creaminess.
Total: $3 for two cups. Bubble tea pricing at its most generous.
Overall: 4.4 / 5. Pearls were on point — chewy, sweet, properly cooked. Tea base had real depth, not just sugar-and-creamer. 2-for-$3 promo made it impossible to pass. 😋👍🏼
