Complimentary anniversary cocktails on staycation with BB!
Anniversary staycation in the Chinatown area with BB — complimentary welcome cocktails (mojito and a tropical passionfruit-orange drink) with a side of sweet potato chips at the hotel bar.
Sunday staycation with BB in the Chinatown area to celebrate our anniversary 🥂. The hotel hooked us up with complimentary welcome cocktails at the lobby bar — perfect way to kick off the weekend escape. 😍
What was on the table:
- A tall glass mojito — mint leaves crushed at the bottom, lime wheels stacked through the glass, topped with soda and ice. Refreshing, fizzy, classic.
- A tropical passionfruit-orange cocktail — pulpy passionfruit floating on top of an orange-tinted base, served in a tall stemmed glass. Sweet, tangy, summery.
- Both drinks came with cute green-and-white striped paper straws for the Insta-worthy touch.
- A small black bowl of crispy sweet potato chips on the side — lightly salted, snackable while we waited for the room.
The mojito had proper mint punch and just enough sugar. The passionfruit one tasted like holiday in a glass.
Overall: 4.3 / 5 for the experience. Complimentary drinks always taste sweeter 😉, and starting an anniversary staycation with chilled cocktails by a sunny pool is exactly the energy we wanted. Onward to dinner! 👍🏼
