TGIF dinner at Little Creatures Brewing (Mohamed Ali Lane)!
Friday night at Little Creatures Brewing on Mohamed Ali Lane — fresh draft pale ale, crispy calamari with aioli, classic fish & chips with mushy peas, and a brownie sundae to close.
Friday night beers and pub grub at Little Creatures Brewing on Mohamed Ali Lane (the Chinatown / Telok Ayer one). The brewery space is small and buzzy — exactly the TGIF energy needed after a long week. 🍺😋
What we ordered:
- A glass of their Little Creatures Pale Ale on tap — crisp, hoppy, with that signature cherub-on-a-beer logo glass. Cold, fresh, dangerously easy to drink.
- Crispy fried calamari — golden battered rings and tentacles tossed in herbs, served with a creamy aioli dip and lemon wedge. Hot, crunchy, just the right amount of grease.
- The classic Fish & Chips — a massive beer-battered fish fillet on a bed of thick-cut fries, with tartar sauce and bright green mushy peas on the side. Proper pub style.
- Brownie sundae to close — warm chocolate brownie, vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce drizzle, mint leaves. Decadent finisher.
The fish batter was the highlight — light, crisp, didn’t go soggy on the fries. Mushy peas brought it home with that authentic British pub touch.
Overall: 4.2 / 5. The beer was on point, the food was solid pub fare, and the vibes were right for a TGIF unwind. Pricier than hawker (it’s a brewery) but worth it for the occasion. 😍👍🏼
